An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Grabiel in the 21st minute of play forced Komonino's goalkeeper Zachary Knopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Abelardo Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Grabiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Abelardo Grabiel sped through Komonino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zachary Knopek. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wieslaw Jazwiec during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Kluska's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Ordono was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Komonino's Walery Huk got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, Ladislao Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Kluska in the 89th minute of play forced Palmitas CF's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Komonino's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Leocadio came free, but Zachary Knopek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Vicente Leocadio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Komonino the free kick. The supporters of Komonino booed when Palmitas CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Kluska struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rigoberto Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Komonino. Palmitas CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
