The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Pontes in the 3rd minute of play forced Köycegiz SK's goalkeeper Doğuhan Evliya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermidinha's Váldson Mattos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Doğuhan Evliya in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute, Ahmet Efe Eğilmez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamílton Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Ahmet Efe Eğilmez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köycegiz SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Efe Eğilmez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Köycegiz SK's Ahmet Efe Eğilmez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamílton Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hamílton Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Eğilmez in the 22nd minute of play. Arda Baybars Nurkan was slow to take the kick. During this time Köycegiz SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ermidinha's goalie and right to Hayyam Serdengeçti. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ermidinha's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd minute Waldemar Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuhan Evliya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doğuhan Evliya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Köycegiz SK played a much better game than Ermidinha and deserved their victory. The Ermidinha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
