With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Camarasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8thth minute of the game Waldemar Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roland CD's Hector Camarasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Camarasa having to make a save. Sofronio Madariaga scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamílton Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ermidinha and the Roland CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roland CD's Hector Camarasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Pontes in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Waldemar Pontes made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Roland CD's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Pontes came free, but Hector Camarasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Betinho Donatello notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Roland CD's Hector Camarasa. Hector Camarasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Roland CD booed when Ermidinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Roland CD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ermidinha.
