Hette Ploeger scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Asım Tezel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Weinands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüce İmar in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Robin Lokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Asım Tezel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Lokin in the 29th minute of play forced Güngören Gücü F. K's goalkeeper Ali Asım Tezel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hette Ploeger sped through Güngören Gücü F. K's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Asım Tezel. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Robin Lokin put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ali Asım Tezel. A collision led to Oegstgeest Excelsior getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ton Bogarde hit a great ball. Ali Asım Tezel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ton Bogarde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Robin Lokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oegstgeest Excelsior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yüce İmar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Weinands having to interfere.

The wind increased when Robin Lokin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Govert Koopmans notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Güngören Gücü F. K's Ali Asım Tezel. Ali Asım Tezel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the match, Güngören Gücü F. K's goal looked a bit too open when Hette Ploeger came free, but Ali Asım Tezel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, kaya Çağa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Oegstgeest Excelsior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Wielaert to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hette Ploeger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Asım Tezel. That made the score 0-6 in the 61 minute of play. Oegstgeest Excelsior's Hette Ploeger got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, kaya Çağa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güngören Gücü F. K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. With a little luck, Güngören Gücü F. K's Ali Asım Tezel got control of the ball when Robin Lokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Oegstgeest Excelsior booed when Güngören Gücü F. K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Bilge Kirtekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Govert Koopmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Asım Tezel having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Robin Lokin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Ali Asım Tezel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Robin Lokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Asım Tezel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Oegstgeest Excelsior could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Güngören Gücü F. K throughout the match.
