FC Vrabchevtsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vute Krapchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Giray Yalçın put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Spiro Chalúmov. Ali Ömer İrem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kadirli FC booed when FC Vrabchevtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoimen Dzhunev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deyan Krústanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Kadirli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vute Krapchev came free, but Ali Kaan Mutlusoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deyan Serafimov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Kaan Mutlusoy firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deyan Krústanov got free with Ali Kaan Mutlusoy in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, FC Vrabchevtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vute Krapchev to maneuver through the defense. If Deyan Krústanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spiro Chalúmov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Yalçın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Kadirli FC were awarded a corner. Engin Durkaya went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Engin Durkaya got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Spiro Chalúmov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kadirli FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Deyan Krústanov scored to the left of an out of position Ali Kaan Mutlusoy, making the score, 1-1. The Kadirli FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Kadirli FC's Giray Yalçın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

In the 51st minute, Giray Yalçın fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Kadirli FC's Ali Ömer İrem got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Kadirli FC's Ali Ömer İrem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spiro Chalúmov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Deyan Krústanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Giray Yalçın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spiro Chalúmov was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to FC Vrabchevtsi getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dragolyub Haralambov hit a great ball. Spiro Chalúmov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giray Yalçın in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes FC Vrabchevtsi got a freekick which was hit by Dragolyub Haralambov. The crowd rose to their feet as Kadirli FC's Giray Yalçın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Spiro Chalúmov. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giray Yalçın in the 71st minute of play forced FC Vrabchevtsi's goalkeeper Spiro Chalúmov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Ginyo Polyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vrabchevtsi and the Kadirli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Ginyo Polyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Engin Durkaya from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Spiro Chalúmov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ali Kaan Mutlusoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deyan Krústanov's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ali Ömer İrem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spiro Chalúmov having to make a save. Giray Yalçın scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spiro Chalúmov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Vrabchevtsi booed when Kadirli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Ömer İrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Vrabchevtsi's Spiro Chalúmov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engin Durkaya in the 89th minute of play. With 90 minutes on the clock, Atanas Mitzakov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Vrabchevtsi! When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Kadirli FC's Engin Durkaya got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Spiro Chalúmov. In the 95th minute Giray Yalçın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spiro Chalúmov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kadirli FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kadirli FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
