Rodriguez Barriobero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damario Cacheres in the 3rd minute of the match. Rexino Salinas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Furman Donis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DeLorean FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Furman Donis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Furman Donis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hector Camarasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 11 minutes, Rexino Salinas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DeLorean FC and the Roland CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DeLorean FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rexino Salinas hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustín Losada during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute Sofronio Madariaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguez Barriobero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leizarraga Daroca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Camarasa having to interfere. Rodriguez Barriobero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damario Cacheres in the 21st minute of play. Roland CD's Hector Camarasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguez Coracera in the 22nd minute of play. Rodriguez Barriobero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofronio Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the last second Hector Camarasa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leizarraga Daroca in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Orti Vilaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 29th match minute, DeLorean FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oro Tella to maneuver through the defense. Hector Camarasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rexino Salinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Roland CD's goalkeeper Hector Camarasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Furman Donis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Lama in the 34th minute of play forced DeLorean FC's goalkeeper Rodriguez Barriobero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DeLorean FC's Rodriguez Barriobero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofronio Madariaga in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Honorio Pascual made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguez Barriobero. DeLorean FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Roland CD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Ciano Mendieta scored to the left of an out of position Hector Camarasa, making the score, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leizarraga Daroca to make the kick off. Rodriguez Barriobero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorio Pascual showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 61st match minute, DeLorean FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciano Mendieta to maneuver through the defense.
