Julen Puig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciano Mendieta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julen Puig. That made the score 3-1 in the 19 minute of play. If Virgilio Solo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguez Barriobero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Ciano Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rexino Salinas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Rodriguez Coracera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th play minute Orti Vilaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julen Puig. 4-1. Rodriguez Barriobero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Sirvent, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Rodriguez Barriobero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Solo in the 42nd minute of the match. Julen Puig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Furman Donis in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Vilaro in the 45th minute of play forced Slifer's goalkeeper Julen Puig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguez Barriobero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Fuentes in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Fuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubio Cabrera hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Orti Vilaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julen Puig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leizarraga Daroca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julen Puig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Vilaro in the 55th minute of play forced Slifer's goalkeeper Julen Puig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ciano Mendieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julen Puig. Slifer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciano Mendieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Ovando Depino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Slifer's goal looked a bit too open when Furman Donis came free, but Julen Puig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Leizarraga Daroca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julen Puig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DeLorean FC booed when Slifer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancracio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
