Nicanor Illan started the match with the kick off. Oshyros ll's Fumo Pocock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Langoni in the 5th minute of play. Fumo Pocock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fumo Pocock made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mikolaj Lodowy sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Sten Andrejević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Luke was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Langoni in the 12th minute of play forced Oshyros ll's goalkeeper Fumo Pocock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pilar FC defense, Isaac Intxixu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Luke. The Pilar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Luke should have stopped the shot. Oshyros ll were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Pilar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leandro Lucado took the corner. Leandro Lucado made a great header on Oshyros ll's corner, it was just that Pilar FC's Sixto Luke managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 19th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Sixto Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fumo Pocock. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. Marcos Gitano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Gitano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pilar FC's Cristian Jenaro was substituted for Mikolaj Lodowy. Pilar FC made a substitution. Candido Hendrickx replaced Nicanor Illan. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fumo Pocock. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goalkeeper Sixto Luke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Intxixu. In the 56th minute, Candido Hendrickx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pilar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Pilar FC's Sixto Luke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pilar FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Sixto Luke got control of the ball when Isaac Intxixu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Andrejević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sixto Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oshyros ll's Leonardo Maiorga was substituted for Freddy Macias. 77 minutes into the game, Oshyros ll's François Marotte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Luke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Pilar FC's Sixto Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Autret in the 83rd minute of play. Sixto Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龚辉适, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Candido Hendrickx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fumo Pocock. Oshyros ll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Hendrickx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. When Candido Hendrickx came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pilar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Hendrickx couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when Oshyros ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oshyros ll players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pilar FC.
