Bailey Kerns scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bailey Kerns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Romário Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bailey Kerns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Dantas came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by PALMEIRAS-UTAH's He Xiao. But to his dismay, He Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bailey Kerns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Dantas having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, He Xiao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that He Xiao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A collision led to Laranja EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cícero Antunes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bailey Kerns in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Laranja EC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Perivaldo Amaral hit a great ball. When Olimpiu Mirciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Mirciulescu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Laranja EC's Vitório Pimenta got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Bailey Kerns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja EC's Romário Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Bailey Kerns in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Donald Voldfrom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romário Dantas. The goal made the score 0-7. Donald Voldfrom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Romário Dantas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Romário Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Andre Randall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 59 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Meira came free, but 严昂军 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Laranja EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Donald Voldfrom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. The referee showed Zé Roberto Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja EC from getting a goal against them. PALMEIRAS-UTAH played a much better game than Laranja EC and deserved their victory. The Laranja EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
