An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Negri in the 14th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Délio Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Verite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mark Van Leeuwe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Délio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Lucas got free with Chico Donato in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Lara came free, but Salomon Verite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Vieira. Salomon Verite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Lara in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Van Leeuwe to make the kick off. The supporters of PIRITUBA MM 4EVER booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Carrier didn't get a good kick on the ball. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's Salomon Verite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's Alfredão Negri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Donato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pars Yorgun kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Marcial Errolan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Donato having to make a save. After some careless play in the PIRITUBA MM 4EVER defense, Roberto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salomon Verite. The PIRITUBA MM 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salomon Verite should have stopped the shot. Mark Van Leeuwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Martinescu in the 76th minute of play forced PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's goalkeeper Salomon Verite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER made a substitution. Zé Augusto Marinho replaced Laércio Baiano. After having played for 87 minutes, Christian Hojem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Hojem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliézer Alvarenga hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Christian Hojem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DIPLOMATA FC PAB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
