In the 18th minute, Ma Kuan Yun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Didi Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ma Kuan Yun might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romário Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ma Kuan Yun ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute of the match, Ma Kuan Yun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romário Dantas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ma Kuan Yun scored 4-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romário Dantas came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Batalhão do Peçanha's Ma Kuan Yun. But to his dismay, Ma Kuan Yun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ma Kuan Yun scored 6-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romário Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Tróia in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Ma Kuan Yun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ma Kuan Yun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ma Kuan Yun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ma Kuan Yun struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Romário Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalhão do Peçanha. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Batalhão do Peçanha's Ma Kuan Yun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Kuan Yun in the 62nd minute of play forced Laranja EC's goalkeeper Romário Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Leggeri kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Meira came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ma Kuan Yun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Dantas. Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Laranja EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vânderson Vasconcelos took the corner. Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romário Dantas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Batalhão do Peçanha's Ma Kuan Yun in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
