Raí Bertassi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins. But to his dismay, Alfredo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 11thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Lorenzo Mendebal got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Raí Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in 27 de Mayo's zone, Alfredo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Bertassi came out of the goal and Alfredo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raí Bertassi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Moussa Kabre. But to his dismay, Moussa Kabre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Moraes in the 34th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 36th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedê de Senna to make the kick off. With a little luck, 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi got control of the ball when Dorian Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by 27 de Mayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moussa Kabre was slow to take the kick. During this time Marquês de Herval's players had a chance to rest. 58 minutes into the match, German Cano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raí Bertassi, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 61st minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Moraes got free with Raí Bertassi in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorian Moraes struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Raí Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Alfredo Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Raí Bertassi made a huge save. If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquês de Herval's German Cano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raí Bertassi. That made the score 0-7 after 75 minutes of play. Raí Bertassi was a little too slow when Dorian Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-8. When Dudu Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 27 de Mayo's protests and gave Dudu Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Raí Bertassi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Moussa Kabre. Hílton Cardoso scored 1-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. If Dorian Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after 27 de Mayo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moussa Kabre took the corner. When the final whistle sounded Marquês de Herval left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 27 de Mayo.
