When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Betão Vargas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Romário Dantas to make any attempt to save it. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja EC's zone, Betão Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Dantas came out of the goal and Betão Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romário Dantas was a little too slow when Betão Vargas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Betão Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 minutes, Sidney Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranja EC and the SE Tijolo 6 Furos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Laranja EC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Esteves. After a rather tough play, Laranja EC's Walmyr Valle got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romário Dantas. Romário Dantas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Betão Vargas scored 4-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Laranja EC booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volli Muuga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitório Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Betão Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Romário Dantas made a huge save. After some careless play in the Laranja EC defense, Betão Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Dantas. The Laranja EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Dantas should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Laranja EC's Romário Dantas got control of the ball when Betão Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betão Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Laranja EC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Pimenta. Romário Dantas came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas. But to his dismay, Betão Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Vitório Pimenta hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Betão Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Betão Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romário Dantas having to make a save. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Betão Vargas sped through Laranja EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romário Dantas. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Vito Nóbrega replaced Juan Alvarenga. Vito Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Dantas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Giovanni Custódio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dagoberto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Didi Barros in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas. The audience was convinced that Betão Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romário Dantas was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Romário Dantas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 12-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Romário Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92ndth minute of the game Betão Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja EC's Romário Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Betão Vargas notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Laranja EC's Romário Dantas. Romário Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
