The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Sumaré Sport Club's George Buffon threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Chmelyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the game, 苏庭枫 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumaré Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Lions FC the free kick. After 20 minutes of play, Three Lions FC's George Messi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Brun in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Sebastian Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Trigos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got George Buffon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute Alfred Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Brun in the 36th minute of the match. The Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Buffon should have stopped the shot. Richard Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Lukaku in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George De Bruyne. George Lukakus short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Richard Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George De Bruyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sumaré Sport Club's Jessica Xerifão was substituted for Xu Sha Quan. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lukaku in the 85th minute of play. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Lukaku's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Zé Trigo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Buffon. Three Lions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sumaré Sport Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
