George Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, George De Bruyne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Three Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lukaku in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Martinescu got free with George Buffon in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lopes in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Niculae Martinescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Buffon. Three Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Martinescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by George Stones. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Lara in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Niculae Martinescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but George Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 46th match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Maguire to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, José Augusto Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Three Lions FC's George Buffon didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olivier Gilg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, José Augusto Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting a goal against them. George Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niculae Martinescu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If George Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George De Bruyne. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Maguire was slow to take the kick. During this time Three Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Messi got free with Chico Donato in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wilton do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIPLOMATA FC PAB's protests and gave Wilton do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Wilton do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when George De Bruyne came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Messi didn't get a good kick on the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB made a substitution. Délio Furtado replaced Olivier Gilg. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Pars Yorgun hit a great ball. George Buffon came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Roberto Lopes. But to his dismay, Roberto Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 87th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Furtado to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Gunnar Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Martinescu in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Joaquín Guzmán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Three Lions FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Three Lions FC may have spent more time on the ball, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
