Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Messi in the 18th minute of play. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Messi in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Raí Bertassi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Raí Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Eduardo Rossi's late challenge caught a Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Eduardo Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Messi in the 43rd minute of play. Adhemar Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Adhemar Furlan hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
After having played for 50 minutes, Gunnar Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Ekeroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52ndth minute of the game George Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 5-0 when George Messi sped through 27 de Mayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raí Bertassi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Ekeroth in the 57th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game George Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If George Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Messi in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Three Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
