Juan Mondaca might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Mondaca ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Magallanes's Téo Leite threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Mondaca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Seran Turres kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Wilbert Ugalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Witkowski having to interfere. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Mondaca in the 27th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anacleto Dessauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ksawery Witkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Heidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Juan Mondaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Dessauer. In the 36th minute, Leandro Heidemann made a precise shot to the right of Ksawery Witkowski. Magallanes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 39 minutes into the game, Seran Turres threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alvi Verde's Piarres Cabredo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 42 minutes into the game, Leandro Heidemann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ksawery Witkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Téo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Mondaca in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Mondaca made a kick off. Téo Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Mondaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilbert Ugalde got free with Ksawery Witkowski in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Juan Mondaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Magallanes's Peio Raggio was substituted for Juan Mondaca. Magallanes made a substitution. Juan Fernando Pirola replaced Alejandro Campbell. Leandro Heidemann hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilbert Ugalde in the 69th minute of the match. Seran Turres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Heidemann. Alvi Verde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Attila Kiss in the 74th minute. Anacleto Dessauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Raggio in the 84th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Magallanes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alvi Verde's performance. The match ended with a win for Alvi Verde.
