Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dunder Mifflin's Aurelio Quintan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Dunder Mifflin from getting a goal against them. Angelino Inautzi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Quintan. Aurelio Quintan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Elvio Txartiko hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Teofilo Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Inautzi got free with Aurelio Quintan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Abaunza to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Angelino Inautzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aurelio Quintan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Abaunza in the 65th minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Ferrari hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Gaudencio Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dunder Mifflin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Abaunza couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Angelino Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Quintan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when Dunder Mifflin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Paulo Ferrari got a free kick in the 81st minute. Dunder Mifflin made a substitution. Emilio Mederi replaced Elvio Txartiko. After 82 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ferrari. In the 85th minute, Santos Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Bernardino Dimas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Andrej Vombergar sent off a good shot on target. Bernardino Dimas was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Gaudencio Abaunza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaudencio Abaunza really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1.
