The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Vaz came free, but Paulo Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Hats in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Felix Santos rounded SAO JOANENSE FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. José do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Hats in the 21st minute of play. Lázaro Hats's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, José do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eriberto Vaz scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José do Vale having to make a save. Lázaro Hats's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, José do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Felix Santos put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of José do Vale. After 41 minutes, Felix Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NECKER49 and the SAO JOANENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Felix Santos got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a little luck, SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale got control of the ball when Lázaro Hats tried to sneak it across the goal line. José do Vale came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by NECKER49's Lázaro Hats. But to his dismay, Lázaro Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Hats to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Lluis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Felix Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 67th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Lluis to maneuver through the defense. NECKER49's Lino Sendoa was substituted for Lázaro Hats. NECKER49's Guido Pello was substituted for Felix Santos. After 68 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Lluis. SAO JOANENSE FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
