The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Tolek Pilitowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting a goal against them. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Tolek Pilitowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Hulubei in the 21st minute of play. Augustin Horea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tolek Pilitowski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Stefan Skorny got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Club Sportiv Medgidia getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ferdinand Hidiș hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Cyryl Percha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A and the Club Sportiv Medgidia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelian Şantău kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Cyryl Percha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnaba Osowski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Sebastian Matei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Pilitowski. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Ferdinand Hidiș had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After having played for 47 minutes, Dominik Filipowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Filipowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Filipowski during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Sportiv Medgidia made a substitution. Laurențiu Iosub replaced Ferdinand Hidiș. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Filipowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dominik Filipowski 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Dominik Filipowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Arghirescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Filipowski ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dominik Filipowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
