Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Czeslaw Domeracki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şota Arveladze in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Lauro in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Ostrowski saved Olympique Gdynia from getting behind. After 44 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Imbor. Marek Torm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marek Torm made a kick off. Olympique Gdynia may have spent more time on the ball, but Vikingos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
