When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Maciej Janko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. Atlético Bucaramanga's Luizinho Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Bucaramanga from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Burufski in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho Paranaense saved Atlético Bucaramanga from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomasz Burufski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
