A nice corner shot did that Cafu Branco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erivaldo Catarinense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Vila Nova GO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seçkin Ünlüol took the corner. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Erivaldo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Marquez in the 32nd minute of play. When Vila Nova GO's Luís Guilherme Guedes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Marquez to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Cafu Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Catarinense made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vila Nova GO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
