Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Aydınoğlu in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Şakir Aydınoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Yuri Reis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós. Figueira SC FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malin Koshkov took the corner. In the 48th minute, Pastor Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Reis in the 56th minute of play. Yuri Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis de Queirós having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 63rd minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Donato in the 68th minute of play. Cássio Guimarãess short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Régis de Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Şakir Aydınoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Şakir Aydınoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Figueira SC FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
