Trinidad & Tobago's Sanjiv Yorke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Lima Clemente in the 22nd minute of play. If Custódio Lima Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanjiv Yorke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Quilempan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Ezequiel Niz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjiv Yorke having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Angola got a freekick which was hit by Nito Montoia. Trinidad & Tobago's Sanjiv Yorke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ezequiel Niz in the 34th minute of play. Winifred Alleyne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenço Polido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Fábio Quilempan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Sanjiv Yorke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Quilempan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Angola's Miguel Duarte got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Scott Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Trinidad & Tobago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scott Garcia couldn't finish the play. Fábio Quilempan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Quilempan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trinidad & Tobago booed when Angola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Quilempan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angola's Afonso Rochedo was substituted for Paulo Ezequiel Niz. Fábio Quilempan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lourenço Polido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winifred Alleyne in the 72nd minute of the match. Edmundo Fontão took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sanjiv Yorke. Sanjiv Yorke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Flavio Polido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Afonso Rochedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanjiv Yorke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sanjiv Yorke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Fontão, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Angola's corner Miguel Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sanjiv Yorke quite easily take care of the ball. Sanjiv Yorke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Fontão in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes Trinidad & Tobago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Cunha who took care of the corner kick. The Trinidad & Tobago players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Angola from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
