Angola's Lourenço Polido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Angola from getting a goal against them. Dominic Ramjohn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Lourenço Polido made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Paulo Ezequiel Niz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Trinidad & Tobago's Sanjiv Yorke. Sanjiv Yorke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Lourenço Polido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
