Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after KFC Cromvelde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Hug took the corner. The corner ended in Kris Chamberlain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever did a great save. Kris Chamberlain had several of the KFC Cromvelde's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jean-Louis Van Bever as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vacid Nefer in the 14th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Nefer in the 18th minute of the match. Kris Chamberlain hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Vacid Nefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé 武松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vacid Nefer made a kick off. In the 60th minute of the match, Mathijs Rokeloos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Turgut Talha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Dé 武松 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha did a great save. Vacid Nefer scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Jochen Van den Panhuizen replaced Cosmin Contra. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Karl-Heinz Kaltz made a precise shot to the right of Turgut Talha. Club Deportivo Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 75 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Heinz Kaltz. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Nefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Club Deportivo Español's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Cromvelde the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Hug to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Mathijs Rokeloos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Quan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Dé 武松 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turgut Talha came out of the goal and Dé 武松 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Deportivo Español had won after a very even match.
