The crowd rose to their feet as Onyx's Jurand Jaraczeski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Barreto. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 5 minutes in the game, Ludomil Rukszcz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Kağan Uzman in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Domarecki saved Onyx from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jurand Jaraczeski took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mauro Barreto to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Zahemski got free with Mauro Barreto in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Kağan Uzman in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Domarecki saved Onyx from getting behind. In the 29th minute Onyx were awarded a corner. Jurand Petka went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şahap Cezar in the 30th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Palhocense's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurand Jaraczeski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jurand Jaraczeski could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Mauro Barreto however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Rukszcz in the 36th minute of play forced Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Kağan Uzman in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Palhocense's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zahemski came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Onyx got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Zahemski. The supporters of Clube Atlético Palhocense booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şahap Cezar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Palhocense's Danilo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piotr Zahemski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 53rd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Palhocense's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Onyx got a corner. Clube Atlético Palhocense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jurand Petka ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes in the game, Ludomil Rukszcz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zdzislaw Domarecki having to interfere. When Jurand Jaraczeski fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onyx's protests and gave Jurand Jaraczeski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Onyx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Jaraczeski to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilla Kağan Uzman. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Guimarães in the 64th minute of play. Zdzislaw Domarecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilla Kağan Uzman in the 67th minute. Jurand Jaraczeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Atlético Palhocense's Duda de Mendonça was substituted for Ronaldo França. Clube Atlético Palhocense made a substitution. Jaime Mourão replaced Danilo Nóbrega. In the 74th minute, Luís Fernando França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Palhocense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Palhocense's goal looked a bit too open when Emrys Hannah came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurand Jaraczeski in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Barreto saved Clube Atlético Palhocense from getting behind. Mauro Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 83rd minute of play. If Jurand Jaraczeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Palhocense's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zahemski came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atlético Palhocense's Clóvis Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube Atlético Palhocense players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Onyx.
