Artur Sarnat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. 张飞 in the 28th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Christer Belzner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GIDLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Belzner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcin Cebula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Artur Sarnat made a huge save. Artur Sarnat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dariusz Wos to make the kick off. The referee ignored FC GIDLE's protests and gave Hamílton Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 50 minutes play.
