With a little luck, Lions United's Steve De Wilde got control of the ball when Atilano Quinten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions United's Pablo Solari. But to his dismay, Pablo Solari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pan Jian Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Jian Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng De Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 23rd minute of play. Steve De Wilde made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Atilano Quinten sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Los Delfines's Steve De Wilde threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arquímedes Cesario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Atilano Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Pablo Solari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilano Quinten made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Cesario came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Bin Yuan in the 52nd minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Jian Yong came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Bin Yuan came free, but Steve De Wilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pan Jian Yong. Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Pablo Solari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Patrone having to interfere. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 84th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Primeiro. Pan Jian Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lions United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
