Borussia Ostermoordorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FRANK the free kick. After 4 played minutes Borussia Ostermoordorf got a freekick which was hit by Rigo Moschel. Aage Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Mathiassen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hugo Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Koppenhöfer's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Esteban Ignado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aage Weiss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Baumann in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Roald Engebakken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FRANK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roald Engebakken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Rigo Moschel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aage Weiss having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Koppenhöfer in the 31st minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FRANK's Esteban Ignado fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Faruk Baumann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Hugo Moraes made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Roald Engebakken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aage Weiss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Rigo Moschel's late challenge caught a FRANK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birger Koppenhöfer got free with Hugo Moraes in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Ignado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss got control of the ball when Stefan Mathiassen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stefan Mathiassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aage Weiss made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Jean Rehm got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Steve Yzerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aage Weiss showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Roald Engebakken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aage Weiss, 0-5. Aage Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Mathiassen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 77th playminute.
