Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adışirin Azayev in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Don King sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montes Quevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenneth Heise who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Tony Uchiha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Don King received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Montes Quevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aurelio Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Frisco to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fetiyerd's goal looked a bit too open when Adışirin Azayev came free, but Montes Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
