Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Reijnders struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rigoberto Leoncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kickers United. In the 15th minute Celestino Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Valentin Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Reijnders's late challenge caught a LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Reijnders helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Reijnders didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 23rd minute of play forced LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Blasi to maneuver through the defense. Olaf Kochowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Leoncio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 37th minute of play forced LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalkeeper Rigoberto Leoncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rigoberto Leoncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. from getting a goal against them. Rigoberto Leoncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Maquiano in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Jorge Reijnders dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Leoncio, 1-0. Celestino Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Elequemedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Olaf Kochowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Leoncio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute of the game, Niels Vandamme landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Elequemedo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kickers United's Dionisio Gartzi was substituted for Niels Vandamme. The supporters of Kickers United booed when LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Olaf Kochowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Jorge Reijnders made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Leoncio. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 69 played minutes LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. got a freekick which was hit by Aaron McCaw. Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys was substituted for Jorge Reijnders. Kickers United's Antonio Netels was substituted for Toon Adriaensens. Rigoberto Leoncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Maquiano in the 76th minute of the match. Lode Rouvroys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. made a substitution. Rodrigo Tipi replaced Tobias Elequemedo. 84 minutes into the match, Lode Rouvroys notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s Rigoberto Leoncio. Rigoberto Leoncio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Lode Rouvroys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kickers United had won after a very even match.
