Floresta Negra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Marcelo Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 79th minute of play. Lokon Pøhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting a goal against them. Floresta Negra FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
