Nelsinho Leite acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Shi Xi Zhen. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Turgut Soyuer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nelsinho Leite. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Turgut Soyuer could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Nelsinho Leite however easily saved by the left post. PREZULO FC's Ronny Åman was substituted for Rob Lute. When PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vascogoianiense FC's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Sidnei Leão threw the ball into play from the sideline. PREZULO FC's Samuel Jobo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 40th play minute Turgut Soyuer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nelsinho Leite. 2-1. In the 45th minute, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pirani to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Leal to maneuver through the defense. With 54 minutes on the clock, Ana Cristina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Isaac Ferreira had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Aírton Sousa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 65 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Isaac Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98thth minute of the game Mari Balotelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betão de Brito was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. PREZULO FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
