Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekrem Yağın having to interfere. In the 13th minute Şenol Şafakgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behçet Başkara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Yozgat SK's Mahmut Ergalip got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Behçet Başkara. Ali Emir Tanyolaç hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Yozgat SK's Doğa Tefhim got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Yozgat SK got a freekick which was hit by Tahir Evvel. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Yetkin Midilli put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ekrem Yağın. Ekrem Yağın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atıf Terzioğlu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atıf Terzioğlu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

During the 50th minute of the match Atıf Terzioğlu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Atıf Terzioğlu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 51 played minutes Yozgat SK got a freekick which was hit by Atıf Terzioğlu. In the 55th minute, Yetkin Midilli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, Etiler FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Emir Tanyolaç to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Orbay Balcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Sabit Sabri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yozgat SK's Ekrem Yağın didn't even have to move. When Etiler FK's Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yozgat SK's goalie prevented a goal. Behçet Başkara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Arif Özgener's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Mehmet Arif Özgener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Yetkin Midilli could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ekrem Yağın however easily saved by the left post. Ekrem Yağın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin in the 85th minute of the match. Yetkin Midilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekrem Yağın having to interfere. In the 88th minute Mehmet Arif Özgener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behçet Başkara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Behçet Başkara came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Yozgat SK's Mehmet Arif Özgener. But to his dismay, Mehmet Arif Özgener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Yozgat SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
