The crowd rose to their feet as Bilge Bozyiğit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ekrem Yağın. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Arif Özgener's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selçuk Helvacı was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Tarkan Oray kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Doğa Tefhim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Selçuk Helvacı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Selçuk Helvacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğa Tefhim in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yozgat SK's Ali Nejat Yerhum got a free kick in the 18th minute. Selçuk Helvacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Arif Özgener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akdagmadeni's Selçuk Helvacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenol Şafakgün in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Akdagmadeni's Kahraman Ulubek got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Doğa Tefhim made a precise shot to the right of Selçuk Helvacı. Akdagmadeni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 28th minute Mustafa Çağlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekrem Yağın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Bilge Bozyiğit got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Bilge Bozyiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akdagmadeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bilge Bozyiğit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekrem Yağın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Çağlar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Yozgat SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Yerhum to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Bilge Bozyiğit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akdagmadeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Doğa Tefhim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selçuk Helvacı having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
In the 52nd minute of the match Yozgat SK got a corner. Akdagmadeni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mahmut Ergalip ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Yozgat SK's Mahmut Ergalip to fire away a dangerous shot which Selçuk Helvacı despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Akdagmadeni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yozgat SK:s goal. Cumhur Baran hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Mustafa Çağlar came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Akdagmadeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Çağlar couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Mustafa Çağlar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Ekrem Yağın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st play minute Mehmet Arif Özgener came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Selçuk Helvacı. 3-4. Bilge Bozyiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekrem Yağın having to interfere. When Mümin Egeli came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Akdagmadeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümin Egeli couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Akdagmadeni's Bilge Bozyiğit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ekrem Yağın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. A collision led to Akdagmadeni getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cumhur Baran hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's goalkeeper Selçuk Helvacı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Arif Özgener.
