The referee ignored Salihli's protests and gave Yağızhan Orus a yellow card for diving instead. Başaran Ulubek made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bektaş Ali Öktüre sent off a good shot on target. If Cevher Demirman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vecdet Duman came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Salihli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Duman couldn't finish the play. Bektaş Ali Öktüre struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Başaran Ulubek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salihli. 35 minutes into the game, Han SK's Sungurbey Çevikcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Poyraz Oksay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th match minute, Han SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barbaros Urandu to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş Ali Öktüre took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Başaran Ulubek. After 43 minutes, Sercan Songurhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Han SK and the Salihli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Han SK got a freekick which was hit by Sercan Songurhan. Bektaş Ali Öktüre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Salihli booed when Han SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efe Gençoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salihli's Haşim Uluman got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sungurbey Çevikcan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the game, Arif Egemen Yetişen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Cevher Demirman's late challenge caught a Salihli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cevher Demirman helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Han SK got a freekick which was hit by Cevher Demirman. 56 minutes into the match, Salihli's Bektaş Ali Öktüre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Başaran Ulubek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sungurbey Çevikcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Poyraz Oksay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sungurbey Çevikcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Başaran Ulubek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bektaş Ali Öktüre's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The supporters of Han SK booed when Salihli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan Orus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, one of Han SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Han SK. Han SK:s Başaran Ulubek showed great skill when he stopped Haşim Uluman:s penalty. 87 minutes into the match, Han SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bektaş Ali Öktüre came free, but Başaran Ulubek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Abdi Saygın İrfanoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Poyraz Oksay skillfully saved the ball. Sungurbey Çevikcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Poyraz Oksay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Han SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
