Behçet Başkara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedir Bozbora in the 18th minute of play forced Etiler FK's goalkeeper Behçet Başkara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Malatyaspor were awarded a corner. Arda Ozan Eğriöz went to the cornerflag to take it. When Yetkin Midilli came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Etiler FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yetkin Midilli couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bedir Bozbora to make the kick off. Etiler FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Bedir Bozbora scored to the left of an out of position Behçet Başkara, making the score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Tahsin Azimoğlu got free with Behçet Başkara in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Etiler FK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ali Emir Tanyolaç hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin came free, but Tuna Kutertan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Emir Tanyolaç kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Malatyaspor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
