The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Burç Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenol Şafakgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Berksu in the 13th minute of play forced Yozgat SK's goalkeeper Ekrem Yağın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talat Özgenc kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Orbay Balcı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Burç Baba. The goal made the score 1-0. After 24 played minutes FEDER JK got a freekick which was hit by Vural Kırca. The long shot by Mahmut Ergalip in the 25th minute really tested Burç Baba's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yozgat SK's zone, Aras Berksu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekrem Yağın came out of the goal and Aras Berksu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Arif Özgener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burç Baba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Arif Özgener went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When FEDER JK's Talat Özgenc in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Talat Özgenc made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Talat Özgenc fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ekrem Yağın, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aras Berksu got free with Ekrem Yağın in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th match minute, FEDER JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vural Kırca to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute, Yozgat SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şenol Şafakgün to maneuver through the defense. Aras Berksu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ekrem Yağın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nejat Mirza lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Nejat Mirza hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Burç Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmut Ergalip in the 98th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Yozgat SK were victorious despite being under pressure from FEDER JK for much of the match.
