Selçuk Helvacı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bozkurt Tanören showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's goal looked a bit too open when Enver Vahap came free, but Selçuk Helvacı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Selahaddin Subahi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Selçuk Helvacı. Selahaddin Subahi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Selçuk Helvacı made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Selahaddin Subahi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cihangir JK booed when Akdagmadeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahri Canalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Akdagmadeni getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cumhur Baran hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bilge Bozyiğit made a kick off. Hıncal İrfanoğlu came out of the goal and Mustafa Çağlar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilge Bozyiğit in the 53rd minute of play forced Cihangir JK's goalkeeper Hıncal İrfanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cihangir JK's Hıncal İrfanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kahraman Ulubek in the 54th minute of play. Selçuk Helvacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enver Vahap, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Mustafa Çağlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Müslüm İkram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cihangir JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müslüm İkram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bilge Bozyiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıncal İrfanoğlu having to interfere.
