FEDER JK's Burç Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Naci in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FEDER JK's Vural Kırca got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Mehmet Akif Naci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Burç Baba, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, FEDER JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Mirza to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th play minute Bedir Bozbora came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Burç Baba. 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, FEDER JK's goalkeeper Burç Baba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Akif Naci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taner Tercan in the 19th minute of play forced FEDER JK's goalkeeper Burç Baba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burç Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelebi Ayaydın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, FEDER JK's goal looked a bit too open when Çelebi Ayaydın came free, but Burç Baba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burç Baba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelebi Ayaydın in the 35th minute of the match. Tuna Kutertan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Talat Özgenc went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Aras Berksu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tuna Kutertan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FEDER JK. After some careless play in the Malatyaspor defense, Aras Berksu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Kutertan. The Malatyaspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Kutertan should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Talat Özgenc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolunay Lut kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tuna Kutertan. That made the score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goalkeeper Tuna Kutertan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aras Berksu. 63 minutes into the game, Bedir Bozbora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Burç Baba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FEDER JK were furious when Vural Kırca was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Vural Kırca hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Talat Özgenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, FEDER JK's Tolunay Lut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-4. In the 89th minute, Bedir Bozbora made a precise shot to the right of Burç Baba. FEDER JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malatyaspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while FEDER JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
