An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkin Midilli in the 12th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Sertaç Serhun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yetkin Midilli in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sertaç Serhun saved Galatasaray from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertaç Serhun. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sertaç Serhun was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Yetkin Midilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yetkin Midilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertaç Serhun having to interfere. Nejat Uysal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Mustafa Orhan Sadreddin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sertaç Serhun, passed just outside the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Etiler FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
