Ekrem Yağın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Çağlayan in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Kizilay getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ahmet Erdem Bayazid hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Erdem Bayazid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yozgat SK's Ekrem Yağın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nadir Vefakar in the 20th minute of play. Nadir Vefakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ekrem Yağın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kizilay booed when Yozgat SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şenol Şafakgün didn't get a good kick on the ball. Işık Çağlayan took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ekrem Yağın. Ekrem Yağın dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Doğa Tefhim took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Recep Aysan to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğa Tefhim in the 34th minute of play forced Kizilay's goalkeeper Recep Aysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cabbar Bartu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Işık Çağlayan made a kick off. Çelikan Tezcan's late challenge caught a Yozgat SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çelikan Tezcan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kizilay's Çelikan Tezcan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ekrem Yağın had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Işık Çağlayan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Işık Çağlayan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ekrem Yağın was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ahmet Erdem Bayazid hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Recep Aysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğa Tefhim in the 70th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Işık Çağlayan rounded Yozgat SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. Nadir Vefakar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ekrem Yağın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Kizilay got a freekick which was hit by Atakan Oytunç. Doğa Tefhim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Aysan having to interfere. Çelikan Tezcan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
