Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Akil Ülken kicked off to start the match. Akil Ülken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cabbar Bartu during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kizilay's Cabbar Bartu got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akil Ülken in the 21st minute of play forced Kizilay's goalkeeper Recep Aysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Kizilay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa İzzet Berksu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Nejat Uysal could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Recep Aysan however easily saved by the left post. Ahmet Erdem Bayazid's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abdullatif Ergül hit a great ball. Nejat Uysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Aysan having to interfere. Sertaç Serhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Vefakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Işık Çağlayan made the kick off in the second half. Işık Çağlayan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kizilay were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Galatasaray's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Efe Durukan took the corner. The corner led to Kizilay's Çelikan Tezcan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Cabbar Bartu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çelikan Tezcan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Galatasaray's Nejat Uysal in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kizilay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Nejat Uysal made a precise shot to the right of Recep Aysan. Kizilay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galatasaray fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kizilay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
