Recep Aysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kizilay's Recep Aysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Tuğra in the 8th minute of play. Recep Aysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Namık Elçin in the 11th minute of play. Recep Aysan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Namık Elçin's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ümraniye FK's zone, Nadir Vefakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Varol Kamran came out of the goal and Nadir Vefakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Varol Kamran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Kizilay's Ahmet Efe Durukan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mustafa Namık Elçin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Aysan having to interfere. Bayhan Sayhan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nadir Vefakar came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Varol Kamran could save by the left post. Atakan Oytunç hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Kizilay's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Tuğra came free, but Recep Aysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Işık Çağlayan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Işık Çağlayan to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necmettin Siraceddin during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Necmettin Siraceddin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nadir Vefakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Kizilay's Işık Çağlayan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Varol Kamran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 60thth minute of the game Nadir Vefakar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ümraniye FK's Varol Kamran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Varol Kamran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Vefakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Vefakar in the 63rd minute of play forced Ümraniye FK's goalkeeper Varol Kamran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Ufuk Şevket from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Recep Aysan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 80th minute, Raşit Tunç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Ümraniye FK got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Tunç. 85 minutes into the match, Işık Çağlayan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ümraniye FK's Varol Kamran. Varol Kamran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Işık Çağlayan in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Varol Kamran saved Ümraniye FK from getting behind. Recep Aysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Namık Elçin in the 93rd minute of play. Mustafa Barış Tuğra in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Recep Aysan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kizilay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
