The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hauk Hareide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Oséas Albuquerque made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oséas Albuquerque. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frasco Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hauk Hareide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Cleto Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes in the game Illimar Truupõld did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zeca do Valle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Gamble in the 22nd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque got control of the ball when Hauk Hareide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hauk Hareide came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oséas Albuquerque could save by the left post. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Matxin in the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hauk Hareide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oséas Albuquerque. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cleto Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jukatriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jukatriz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Hauk Hareide scored to the left of an out of position Oséas Albuquerque, making the score, 3-0. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Alcântara in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Carabata Groove made a substitution. Mauro Elazar replaced Hauk Hareide. Carabata Groove's David Rios was substituted for Ambrosio Bartolome. The wind increased when Mauro Elazar made the kick off in the second half. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Carabata Groove from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Matxin came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Arif Ozan Sureha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jukatriz's Natanael Furlan was substituted for Cássio de Alcântara. In the 75th minute, David Rios made a precise shot to the right of Oséas Albuquerque. Jukatriz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Matxin in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Matxin in the 83rd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Cleto Matxin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristobal Goito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Matxin in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Möller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Jukatriz's Cleto Matxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Goito. Cristobal Goito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Carabata Groove's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
