The crowd rose to their feet as New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lê Liem. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. New Britain AF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruben Copeland in the 55th minute. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Phạm Hong managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Duane Harman in the 61 minute of the game. If Phạm Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Savage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, New Britain AF's Lê Liem threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oswaldo Savage, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
