The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Björklund in the 4th minute of play forced Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's goalkeeper Lê Liem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Gregersson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Liem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Huỳnh Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Erland Gregersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Lê Liem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Pirroni-cum-Moze FC from getting a goal against them. Răzvan Găvănescu got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Inocencio Cantuarias. After a rather tough play, Guldozon FC's Joakim Björklund got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lê Liem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Johans in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Guldozon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Lan came free, but Celso Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Lê Liem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Johans in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Guldozon FC were awarded a corner. Joakim Björklund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's goalie and right to Inocencio Cantuarias. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Celso Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Duong, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guldozon FC's zone, Nguyễn Hoang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Natanael came out of the goal and Nguyễn Hoang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Gregersson came free, but Lê Liem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erland Gregersson was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Wassenius came free, but Lê Liem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Lê Liem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Björklund in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, Phan Lan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celso Natanael having to interfere. Niceto Johans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lê Liem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niceto Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lê Liem was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Răzvan Găvănescu in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Phạm Hong. Phan Lan took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Natanael. Celso Natanael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Phan Lan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Natanael, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
