Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oswaldo Savage got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes in the game Rickey Cline did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Avery Sears. The crowd rose to their feet as New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duke Schaefer. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Duke Schaefer made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Micah Storey sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Casey Albrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Bliss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Albrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casey Albrecht in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Bliss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ithaca AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Terrence Frederick hit a great ball. New Britain AF were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Ithaca AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruben Copeland took the corner. Oswaldo Savage's late challenge caught a Ithaca AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo Savage helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to New Britain AF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Oswaldo Savage hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ithaca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Copeland came free, but Duke Schaefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ithaca AFC's Edward Posey got a free kick in the 38th minute. Oswaldo Savage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duke Schaefer having to interfere. Micah Storey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Duke Schaefer made a huge save. New Britain AF's Alejandro Bliss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Albrecht in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Ithaca AFC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Avery Sears hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, Duane Harman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ithaca AFC's Edward Posey quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 53rd minute Casey Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Bliss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duke Schaefer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Storey in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Oswaldo Savage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ithaca AFC's Casey Albrecht got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickey Cline got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Avery Sears. A collision led to New Britain AF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marvin Brock hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ithaca AFC's Rickey Cline got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marvin Brock in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duke Schaefer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the game, Casey Albrecht recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejandro Bliss. Casey Albrecht showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. New Britain AF's Alejandro Bliss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Albrecht in the 82nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ithaca AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
